"O strange Orthodox Church, so poor and weak, staying afloat as if by a miracle in the face of so many trials, tribulations and struggles; a Church of contrasts, both so traditional and so free, so archaic and so alive, so ritualistic and so personally involved, a Church where the priceless pearl of the Gospel is assiduously preserved, sometimes under a layer of dust; a Church which in shadows and silence maintains above all the eternal values of purity, poverty, asceticism, humility and forgiveness; a Church which has often not known how to act, but which can sing of the joy of Pascha like no other.” (Fr Lev Gillet)
100 words for 100 church services
On Sunday 6th April 2025, we celebrated our 100th service since we reopened our church last January.
We want to sincerely thank each of you for your incredible support, generosity, and hard work for our church. Your selfless contributions, whether through your time, talents, or financial support, have been vital to our success and growth as a community. Your dedication helps us serve others and make a lasting impact in our church and beyond. We are truly grateful for the sacrifices you’ve made and the love you’ve shown. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and we thank God for blessing us with such wonderful individuals. May you continue to be blessed in all you do. Thank you!
Ahead of Pascha, I ask for your fogiveness and your prayers.
May God help us.
Your priest in Christ,
Nikita
